The Albert Park Hotel Melbourne is a historic icon that has been restored and reborn in 2020 as the heartbeat of the Albert Park community. Our front bar and stylish upstairs cocktail bar embrace the suburb’s inner city charm with a leisurely atmosphere, impressive wine list and expertly crafted cocktail menu.

The Albert Park Hotel is a Melbourne institution that has been given a new lease on life by young restaurateur, Lee. Combining the best of old-school Victorian pubs, there are several spaces: the front bar, the late-night vibes upstairs lounge and the restaurant known as Happy Valley, which draws its focus on Chinese cuisine. Calamari and fried rice, though Lee has taken the liberty to create a menu that’s as bold as the locale’s reincarnation in the restaurant. Highlights include the Yellowfin tuna delicately doused in orange and sesame dressing or Southern Fried chicken with house slaw and gravy – perfect comfort food for chilly Melbourne nights.

Happy Valley at the Hotel is a modern-Chinese restaurant that takes its cues from the beautiful Australian landscape. The menu features modern classics with a focus on fresh, seasonal produce. From starters to desserts, there`s something for everyone to enjoy here. The setting is stylish and comfortable, with an inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for any occasion.

It was first built in 1864 and has been through many incarnations since then. It was most recently purchased by Colonial Leisure Group, who have given it a much-needed facelift. The hotel is now designed by Six Degrees Architects and stylist Anna Roberts, who have paired the historic brickwork with local and original artefacts to create a space that reference’s the building’s heritage.

The Albert Park Pub is a 4 story hotel located in the heart of Melbourne. The hotel features a beautiful atrium that bathes the entire venue in natural sunlight. The original brickwork remains, complimented by leather lounges, teal carpet, and plentiful greenery. A live native fig tree fits nicely in the centre of it all. There’s a plush cocktail bar upstairs with stunning views of Albert Park Lake.

The hotel’s drinks menu features classic cocktails, and signature creations which also take their inspiration from the flavours of Hong Kong. Think five-spice Old Fashioned, and sesame oil negroni. The St Vincent’s Garden – chrysanthemum infused Tanqueray, dried fig, and lemon, is delicious.
