Mr Brownie Melbourne, the latest creation of chef-restaurateur Jessi Singh. This four-storey tall pub is home to an eclectic bar on every level, each with its own unique theme and vibe.
The ground level is a stylish wine bar, the first floor has a casual pub vibe, the second floor is a more formal dining experience, and the top level is a rooftop bar with incredible views of the city.
Hidden behind an unassuming doorand down a flight of stairs to a red-hued speakeasy and dance lounge called the Boom Boom Room. Expect cocktails, neon and tunes aplenty. The bottle shop on the ground floor offers counter seating and a great view of the bartenders shaking up your favorite drinks. If you`re looking for something more formal, head to the dining room on level one. Here you will find a mixture of tall tables and booths that are perfect for groups.
This pub takes its inspiration from historical European figures, showcasing the best of Indian-British cuisine. The samosa burger is one of their most popular items – a fresh samosa wrapped in a burger bun and topped with a minty tamarind chutney. Pair it with one of their many delicious beers and you`ve got yourself an amazing meal!
Choose from chicken tikka, a fiery lamb vindaloo, palak paneer (cheese and spinach) and the chickpea-based chana masala. You can order the curries– which Singh says are made with more There are also toasted brioche rolls filled with butter chicken, and nachos topped with salsa, date and tamarind chutney, mint and coriander. The perfect meal for those who love their spice!
A place where Indian meets Miami, and you can enjoy a delicious fusion of flavors in one place. Our drinks menu is packed with interesting options like the Welcome to Miami cocktail – made with thyme-infused tequila and elderflower liqueur. If you’re looking for something a little warmer, then try The Chai Guy – made with brandy, Portuguese Madeira and garam masala. And if beer is more your thing, we’ve got 16 taps rotating weekly!
Singh is known for his playful take on Indian cuisine, so it’s no surprise that Daughter in Law is a riot of colour and flavour. The menu is split into snacks, small plates, larger plates and desserts – with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Highlights include the pakoras (vegetable fritters), butter chicken and the gulab jamun (fried dough balls soaked in syrup).
Mr Brownie Rooftop Hotel is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
