This walk-in only bar is accessible via the Umberto dining room, and offers stunning views of the cityscape. Marco Finanzio, who owns both Umberto and Gigi with his wife Carla Barbieri, is passionate about creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy a drink or two with friends.

Offering stunning views of the CBD skyline, this is the perfect spot to relax with a drink in hand – and there`s plenty of choice, too, with Umberto wines, zero-alcohol [drinks] and socially conscious beers on offer.

The head bartender, Joanie, has put together a fantastic menu of drinks that will please everyone. Start with her- grapefruit-y house spritz, then move on to the Pina Colada Punch, a tropical mix of reposado and smoked-pineapple tequila, Montenegro, pineapple, coconut and lime, or the Italo Disco, with vodka,, salted raspberry.

Gigi also features a dedicated section for low- (and no-) alc cocktails that includes some delicious options like the Lo Flo, with cucumber, elderflower, lemon, and salt-and-pepper tincture; as well as the Silent Italo Disco.

The menu features dishes like ricotta-filled zucchini flowers, marinated sardine skewers and fried ’nduja soldiers with three cheeses. If you’re looking for something heartier, Gigi also has a delicious bowl of orecchiette with broccoli and anchovies. No matter what you order, be sure to save room for dessert – Gigi’s tiramisu is not to be missed!
