Walk into Fargo and Co in Melbourne, and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time. This unique store is filled with beautiful vintage décor that will add a touch of glamour to any room. The two-storey Edwardian building has been transformed into something from a Dillinger daydream: vintage vault doors, intricate tile-work, stained glass windows and twinkling chandeliers.
This new bar in Richmond that brings together the best of CBD cocktail bars with the relaxed atmosphere of a suburban gastropub. With an 80-head function space, plasma screen and al fresco courtyard on Richmond’s rooftop bar, Fargo and Co is perfect for any event. The blonde timber, embroidered carpet and gilt-framed mirrors give the bar a luxurious feel, while the twisted pendant lights add a touch of fun. The huge mural on one wall of the courtyard provides a unique backdrop for your photos.
The Joint Account, a shared rum mixer, is perfect for groups and comes spiked with Captain Morgan’s, lime, a dash of cherry juice, pineathe High Interest made with Junmal Gino Sake, Mozart white choc, salted caramel and Luxardo Maraschino cherries. If you’re looking for something extra special, try the Loomis Fargo—a sinus-clearing combo of Hakushu 12-year-old whisky, Laphroaig, lemon, ginger liqueur, honey and smoke.
With 15 beers on tap (a solid mix of craft and familiar labels), plus a well-stocked wine cellar, they’ve got something for everyone. And if you’re looking for a little sustenance to soak up all that alcohol, they’ve got you too. The kitchen is serving up tasty little alco-absorbers like Cornflake fried chicken with spicy fried egg mayo and breakfast radish, or sticky baked beef cheek steam buns with black vinegar and chilli. salt and pepper calamari roll, smoked frank hot dog, and Fargo’s signature beef burger.
Not only do they offer bottomless bites every Monday to Wednesday from 4pm to 9pm, but they also have an opulent bottomless brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm. For just $50, you can enjoy unlimited mimosas and prosecco!
The unique and exciting venue is housed in a beautifully restored heritage building, once the site of the Commonwealth Bank. The 200 seat capacity allows catering for all events, from intimate gatherings to large functions. Cocktails are inspired by themes such as ‘The Heist’, ‘The Vaults Toronto’ and ‘Bonnie’s Millions’ and they pride themselves on excellent customer service.
