Owned by Sam Peasnell, brother Tom and mate Adam Goldblatt, Dom’s Social Club is a three level bar, restaurant and rooftop, in the space that once housed rooftop bar Peaches and downstairs restaurant Cheek.
Hidden up a narrow staircase on Swanston Street. This three-level bar, restaurant and rooftop offers leather appointed booths on the first floor, as well as sample wood-fired pizzas topped with house-made salumi. The rooftop is perfect for enjoying Melbourne’s balmy nights, with heaters and heated seating ensuring you stay comfortable all year round.
With leather booths and a cosy atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to relax with friends. The hand-stained timber stairs are a beautiful touch, and the view of the open kitchen is sure to whet your appetite.
This spot in Melbourne offers up a pizza with tomato sugo, confit garlic and extra virgin olive oil that will hit all the right notes. If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous, try out one of their other pies – like the fefferoni pepper pizza topped with pecorino and hot salami. With toppings like these, it’s no wonder Tom is the meat man!
With three levels, each with its own unique vibe, there’s something for everyone. The focus is on wine and cocktails, with a selection of Australian spirits. There’s a pool table in the back room, and a more casual upstairs area with blue carpet and wood panelling.
It is run by the team behind Dexter and Takeaway Pizza, Adam Goldblatt and brothers Tom and Sam Peasnell. The pizzas are a three-day slow ferment sourdough, and the cocktails are delicious. The venue also includes an impressive multi-storey rooftop space that is perfect for events.
