Arbory Bar and Eatery in Melbourne is a unique venue in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. This iconic, historic location has been lovingly restored to provide a stylish yet relaxed space where you can escape from the daily grind. The venue features an urban beer garden hideaway, perfect for a quick drink after work or before catching your train home – this is also where they serve their delicious seasonal dishes.
In summer, it’s the picturesque spot for beers and bites while soaking up the sun in Melbourne’s central business district on the banks of the Yarra River just below Federation Square. And in winter, when things get chilly around these parts, head down to their sister club, Arbory Afloat.
The Arbory Bar & Eatery offers both indoor and outdoor dining, with an expansive riverfront deck looking out over the Yarra River. The menu is full of fresh, locally sourced produce from around Victoria including seafood from Port Phillip Bay and meat from the Western District. There’s even a dedicated gluten-free menu for those with dietary requirements. With outdoor heating in winter months and fireplaces inside during colder times of the year, its a cosy spot to enjoy a meal or drink any time of day!
Designed by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects, the decked alfresco area connects Princes Bridge and Southbank footbridge. Half of that length is taken up with a large container housing two bars, bathrooms and kitchens on the Yarra River.
With 150 meters of decking on the river bank, this new destination for food and drink offers a fantastic view of Melbourne’s iconic Princes Bridge. It’s open daily from 11 am to late with live music every Saturday evening until 10 pm.
This space is perfect for corporate functions for 30-500 guests – Truly one of Melbourne’s best spots to enjoy lunch outdoors!
