Best Bars Footscray
Footscray has a reputation for being the hipster capital of Melbourne, and as such it’s not short on bars. But that doesn’t mean they all have to be bland mega-pubs or expensive cocktail bars. In fact, Footscray is full of small owner-operated pubs where locals go to enjoy a few beers with mates. Here are our favourite spots for settling in and enjoying a few with mates.
Renowned for his work at legendary Melbourne bars Black Pearl and The White Horse, Luke Potter has opened a new bar in Footscray. Called Littlefoot, the venue is inspired by the neighbourhood. It features some of our favourite local Starward Whisky and Four Pillars Gin as well as cocktails that are also influenced by its surroundings. This means ingredients such as lemongrass-infused gin or kaffir lime and Vietnamese-mint syrup.
Corner 90 is a cosy indoor bar and lively outdoor beer garden. Their dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friend with you. Check out our menu for some delicious items like the famous “Feta Burger” or tasty appetizers like hummus or tzatziki dip. Finish up your meal on the patio with a cold pint of craft brew from one of our 11 taps!
