Eydies Brunswick East Bar

Eydie’s Brunswick East bar is a stylish and unpretentious bar on the northern side of Melbourne. It offers a refined setting with a nostalgic soundtrack of Motown, swing and seventies pop. The record player that sits atop the custom-made bar top is a nice touch. Owner Chris, Penny and Hodges formerly ran the Great Britain in Richmond, so they know what they’re doing when it comes to bars. Serving up some of the best craft beer and wine in town. The drinks list is carefully curated, with a focus on Australian wines and craft beers. On tap you can enjoy beer, ale and cider from such greats as Boatrocker Brewery, 4 Pines Brewing Company, Hargreaves Hill Brewing Company & Willie Smith’s Organic Cider. There’s also a great wine list and classic cocktails.

It’s a Brunswick bar with a history of its own, housed in the old Carlton Driving School which has stood since 1887. This establishment’s eclectic style matches it’s colourful past and present.
